Privacy Policy

Shossip (“Shossip”, “we”) is a social media management tool that lets you connect your social accounts and publish, edit, remove, and measure posts from one place. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
Information we collect
- Account identity. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and avatar to identify your account.
- Connected-platform credentials. When you connect Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, or TikTok, we store the access/refresh tokens those platforms issue. Tokens are encrypted at rest and used only to perform actions you initiate.
- Content you create. The text, media URLs, scheduling, and target channels of posts you compose through Shossip.
- Engagement & analytics. Public metrics (likes, comments, views, etc.) and comments that the connected platforms return for your own posts, so we can show you analytics and let you respond.
- Billing data. If you subscribe, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number; Stripe handles card details and returns a customer/subscription identifier and limited billing metadata (e.g. plan, status, last four digits) that we keep to manage your subscription.
How we use it
- To publish, edit, delete, and schedule posts to the channels you select.
- To read and respond to comments on your own posts, at your direction.
- To collect and display performance analytics for your content.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Third parties
Shossip calls the official APIs of Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, Google (YouTube), and TikTok to act on your behalf, subject to each platform’s terms. Data is stored in Google Firestore, the application is hosted on Vercel, and subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We share data with these sub-processors only as needed to run the service.
Retention & deletion
Your data is kept while your account is active. You can disconnect any channel at any time, which revokes Shossip’s stored token for it. To delete your account and associated data, contact us and we will remove it. You may also revoke Shossip’s access directly in each platform’s app/connections settings.
Your choices
You control which accounts are connected, what is posted, and when. Disconnecting a channel stops all access to it.
